At the completion of the Parrish Academy CNA course, students will demonstrate knowledge of skills required to assist nurses in providing patient care in a variety of settings. Healthcare skills include: personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, nutrition and elimination needs, comfort activities, assessment, care planning and more. Basic academic, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are emphasized throughout the course and with hard work and motivation your success is assured.
You don’t need anything to get started. We recommend a high school diploma or GED. In some cases you may need to provide your state issued ID and/or a background check.
